Hey guys,
I'm yet another person whose replacing a gain pot on my friends Mark IV due to a broken shaft. I though I had gone one by one to be absolutely sure I'd got it right but I've got a dilemma. The amp works and sounds good but when you run the pot through it's full range you find it's acting in reverse, meaning setting at "0" sounds like "10" and vice versa. Does anyone here know which wires go where, I'm referring to the black, purple and pink/red wires? Better yet, can someone please take a clear picture of the wiring of the lead gain pot on their Mark IV B? I really could use a hand here.
Thanks.
