I'm looking at some 2x12 cab options at the moment, for the time being I'm probably not going to go a mesa cab so i've been looking around for second hand cabs. There is a guy in Australia who can build you one for around $600 that are well built and you can choose your speakers. So far I've found a Laney that could also be a potential for $350.
Can anyone make any suggestions?
Cheers

I prefer two 1x12 cabs; a 1/2 back loaded with a C-90 or MS-12, and the second one a Thiele cab loaded with an EVM 12-L. The two speakers compliment each other well and the Thiele with an EVM really puts out the thump! It's easier to transport two 1x12s than a 2x12.

This all assumes you're running a medium head, not a long head or combo.

I have been using an Orange 1X12 with a Vintage 30. Really like the way it sounds on R2 and Lead Channels...
