after muchtrail and error, my 1x12 LSS sounds best through 2x12 closed back cabinets... so i want to take the amp out of the combo

any suggestions??

mesa will probably sell a cabinet for the head, but charge a ton... are there any companies that make that sell empty head cabinets??

it does not have to be the perfect fit.... just something that will safely work

thanks

I like the LSS through a 2x12 alot too, specially for cleans
like the 1x12 for gain

but I would keep the 1x12 and just plug a new cab in it, can even A/B switch it

I originally bought a head, and thought it was a mistake, for a hundred bucks more you have a 1x12

but if you really want a head, I would sell the 1x12 and buy a head...what you suggest is probably going to cost you more in the long run

I would think as long at the holes lined up and you left enough "breathing room" for the tubes you should be fine with an after-market head cabinet. I think Mesa sells them for around $300, not sure on that price though?
