Channel 1 cleans are a no brainer with the LSS but when I was trying to dial in a slightly dirty channel 2 just using the gain and master, I was getting a more compressed, less snappy/sharp tone than I wanted. Tuning out some of the bass and mids was getting me close but still not where I wanted to be.

So....I got the manual out and started seeing what the Drive thing was about. Prior to this I assumed that it was for more distorted/sustainy kinds of leads which it does real well if that's what you want.

Anyway, after checkin' out the manual and messing around for about 20 minutes or so I came up with these settings for what I describe as a rootsy, swamp blues kinda tone especially if you pluck or snap your strings as well as using a pick.

Drive ON at 11 o clock
toggle on normal
gain 9:30-10 o clock
treble 1 o clock
mid 8 o clock
bass 10:30-11 o clock
prescence 10:30-11 o clock
master 10 o clock or suit to taste

If any of you guys try this, let me know how you like it compared to channel 2 without the drive.
