I don't currently use a volume pedal but I'm thinking of getting one that's smooth, noiseless, true bypass when not in use, and not a tone-sucker. All of my guitars are have passive pups. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

I'd go with a Ernie Ball or a Boss/Roland Volume Pedal.

I've used Boss pedals for a few years and I love how smoothly they run, The only minor problem I have with them is that I wish they had a wider range. (for octaves mainly)

But, I've seen lots of guys use Ernie Ball, So it's a good name.

I got the Morley Volume / Wah. Works great plus you have a kick *** Wah with a boost knob.

If you get a low impedance model you can put it in the loop and have a foot-controllable Master volume. Just sayin'. :D
