I currently own a Single Rectifier ... but im thinking of moving up to a lonestar 1x12 ..

The Rectifier was run through a Marshall Mode 4 4x12 A cab ...

Can anyone tell what the Lonestars hi-gain setting sounds like through the 1x12 speaker ... I tried a DC-5 a while back and it was all FIZZ ...

I play full time in a covers band .... but also play in a orginal band playing electro / rock (loops 'n' samples etc) ...

We're having to get a smaller van .... so the 4x12 is out ...... i would appreciate any feedback you could give me .....

Thanks

If I'm not mistaken a Lone star is a single rectifier. And they are somewhat fizzy in the gain settings.

The Best clean channel and reverb of any Boogie.

You will need a pedal to get High gain out of a Lonestar.

I like mine with an extension cab, either a closed back 2x12 or 4x12 adds more control to the Gain channel.

Turning the Preamp send knob on the back 3/4 on adds about more volume and punch to Channel 2 also.
