I am installing two Yellowjacket YJS into my Lonestar v2. After playing around with a few configurations I have "figured out" the following:
I had sort of assumed initially that PTP 1 did 10 watts, PTP 1 & 4 did 50 watts and PTP 1, 2, 3, 4 did 100 watts. That seems to be incorrect.
So, I ask you folks - what do those Power Tube Positions "do"?
(PS - I'm still trying to suck some of the wall destroying power of this Lonestar out so I don't have to go buy a practice amp.)
- Power Tube Position 1 (next to the rectifier) & Power Tube Position 4 with PTP 2 & 3 empty allow for 10/50/100 settings
Power Tube Postion 2 & 3 with 1 & 4 empty allow for 10/100 settings but NOT 50
I realize despite "knowing this" I have no idea what it means other than I need tubes in PTP 1 & 4.
