Lonestar trouble, maybe bad cap ?

Ok well anyways, I posted a topic on the lonestar a few days ago, completely disregard it, it seems my amp has a little devil in it. I was playing my strat tonight and it seems that the lonestars putting out certain notes an octave below it, it was particularly on the E and Eb. Anyhow I did both reeder mods a little ways back and hadnt seen any problems, I also retubed it with KT-77's a month and half ago. Any ideas, maybe bad cap ? It's still under a year old.

Strats will sometime do strange things if the pickups are too close to the strings...
