Cheers man. I sent him an email and he is out of stock. He will however put one on order for me, though there is a 4-5 week wait...

I'm going to try this German company, still waiting for an answer from them and have emailed Westside Distribution here in the UK and asked them also.

I mentioned to Westside the amount of issues with the reverbs on these amps and am awaiting a response also.

I will keep you all posted and once again thank you for all your suggestions.

Stonvibe,

No problem, This forum has been so informative it felt right to share the info. even if it's not much of a help :)

If Im honest stonvibe.. ( and I'm not trying to upset anyone here ) .. I spent years trying to find a good replacement Les Paul in the UK that wasn't in some way inferior... eventually I imported one of 25 made for U.S. dealer Music Machine as a special run to mark thier 25th Anniversary. I sometimes wonder if some manufacturers grade their gear .. ie) A grade stays in the states, B grade goes to internet dealers worldwide, C grade gets marked as seconds and is sold off cheep to staff etc.......and D grade is marked U.K. lol... ( please no abusive posts I'm not having a go at anyone ) most touring pro's usually get them while in the states, apart from price, there is this 'one' much more pressing reason.

Back to the Boogie... My reverb is not far away now after all these tweaks. the tank fitted to the lonestar is a 'medium' as opposed to a long decay tank,, maybe the other amps I have are 'long' ... I'll be very interested to here how you get on with your replacement.

Good Luck, Paul

I got a call from the UK distributors today and they have asked me to return the Accutronics tank so they can test it for me. Which is cool as I was just about to buy a replacement tank.

I'll post it next week and let you all know what they say.

I had a phone call from Westside Distribution about an hour ago to confirm my reverb was busted and not working correctly. They have sent me out a replacement and it should be with here by tomorrow.

So great customer service and a really friendly, helpful guy. So a big thank you to Oreste at Westside for all his help! He was straight to the point and honest which was fantastic, no quibble and sounds like a nice guy too!!

Nice to know that they care about their customers.

Great, this gives me hope stonevibe because my lss is flat out reverbless.

Hi,

Could someone tell me the model number of the reverb tank? Also, is it an accutronics reverb tank? I encounter the same reverbless problem with my lonestar classic 50/100. I bet they share the same reverb tank as the new 5/50/100. Thanks in advance.

Cheers,
rig

The tank in my LSS 2x12 is an accutronics model number 9AB2A1B. I have ordered a new one from Tube amp Doctor to see if it improves my reverb. (I emailed Mesa twice regarding poor reverb levels and got no reply as of yet).

To all concerned..... Just wanted to drop a belated update.

Messa took my LSC back for a full health check.

I had to wait a couple of weeks. They replaced the reverb tank... and its now working perfectly.

Thanks for the help everyone.

Paul.

I'd like to call everyone's attention to my post on this board titled "Nomad Reverb"? Everything that has been said about the Lonestar reverb here is true of my Nomad -- and one more important thing: when I jostle the amp rather harshly with it on, I get no "reverb crash". I'd appreciate any advice you all can give me on my post.
