I currently play .50 cal + with the EQ and love it ... get every tone i want (and some i don'1  ) but it is a single channel for me - i can't get it to clean/gain without a monstrous change in volume so i am looking at a 2 channel amp.

a LSC has come into play for a great price - under $1000. 1st question is is this a good/great price ? Since i don;t play metal - i play blues, classic rock, early rock ... i feel certain i can get the tones i want from it. any LSC owners want to chime in with comments - i am about to pull the trigger on this ...

I never played a 50 cal but the LSC is a great amp for those tones and I paid $1200 used a few months ago for my LSC (old version). <$1000 sounds great to me.

LSC is a great amp, if you like the sound, then you should get it.

If you really want to stick with the .50 cal, you could always get another .50 cal and A/B the two amps -- then you have your sound for either "channel". It is a lot to haul around though.

Good price , whats the condition of the amp ? I assume you know the warranty is transferrable as well .

the amp looks fine and has the footswitch - i have not played it. tolex and everything looks in decent condition, no obvious "run over by a truck" look. this is an "old version" - no 10 watt option, just 50/100 ...

warranty was 5 years ? and what paperwork would i need or will i just need to call Mesa and talk to them ? I'm not familiar with that process. Thanks for all the information - everyone.

Typically, the seller would have to sign the receipt over to you...and/or sending an e-mail to Mesa stating that the amp was sold to XXX and are transferring the warranty.

You will need the original owners name, serial number, where it was bought from and when would be good, new owners name and address . I think this is supposed to be done within 10 days of purchase . I sold a stiletto to friend and called Mesa and had it transferred over the phone .

Ideally it would be best for the seller to do this . He would need your Name, address and phone number .
