Is this fixable?

When I first got into MIDI control I called Mesa to ask about using my G-Major & an FCB1010's relays for channel switching and was told "absolutely not, never use a common ground switching system for external channel switching.
Maybe the previous owner rigged up his own switches and connected them wrong?

well.. it works! lol, didn't get to play on it too long, but fired it up for a bit... now the fun begins...
It's going to Dave Friedman this weekend to be modded, and then I'm going do the OT and choke swap.. or maybe I should do that first? I dunno... Anywho, while I was originally going to go with the old schumakers.. Patrick from Mercury Magnetics sold me on their trannys... however, I'm still going to go with a MM Mark series transformer vs a rectifier tranny... and then a mercury choke.
I have no idea what to expect.. it's either going to be glorious.. or fail miserably. Anybody have an idea of what kind of tonal differences I'll get by using a Mark series OT over a Rectifier.. is it worth the $290.00?
