Is this a good buy on a mark 2?

Have an original mesa boogie mark 11 combo. 60-100 watt switching, e.q., reverb, orignal celestion speaker, footswitch. Amp is in excellant conditon, works great, never had a problem with it.

umm....78'?

"...He proceded to evolve the Mark series, with the Mark II released in 1980." From wikipedia.

I don't think the speaker is original. Who knows what evil lurks there.

Could be OK. I would look at it if you are in the market. A few months ago I bought a IIB with the effects/reverb mod in hardwook with the EV speaker for $800. that was a good deal. I would use that as a reference if the amp looks nice, $700 might be reasonable. the speaker does not look original. the tubes do look like the original Sylvania double getters (which are great) but would need a better picture. Gotta look at it and try it out
