Is my cab a weirdo?

One of my mates noticed that on my mesa 4X12 the top slanted half isn't like other recto cabs. It's weird, looking at pics of the other recto cabs the cabinet casing follows the slant of the cab, but on my one the outside of the cabinet is straight with the speakers and mesh slanted.
Is this a really early model of the recto cabs or something??

Your cab is straight and the baffle is slanted. I believe that's how they build the straight cabs. You have to ask for a straight baffle IIRC.

Yup! Straight cabs have a slanted baffle and the top over laps a bit.
