After over a year of waiting (due to moving, money, and commitment), I finally am able to say I own the Roadster. It's in my basement right now resting from long amounts of playing on it this afternoon.

Oh yeah!

I was thinking of buying a Keeley compressor to go with it. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Congrats on the Roadster! Never been a fan of compressors other than on a clean channel. Tried the Boss CS-2 and the EH Soul Preacher. On the lead channel they were noisy and sucked the tone right out of any amp I've owned.

For "compression" on a lead channel I run a TS 808 to tighten things up. The TS808 is very transparent.

Barber Tone Press. Lets you blend in a dry signal to eliminate the initial compression. Minimizes colorations other comps do.

Keeley is awesome; for my money I bought a BYOC 5 knob compressor and built it; it has a blend function and is transparent.
