How Much Does it Cost to get Mesa to Repair a Reverb Tank?

the most pieces that ever broken are the transducers, you can get some transducer from accutronics, but... a new reverb tank is so cheap, about 40 euros, so, don´t waste your time and install yourself a new reverb tank

Is it possible to buy another reverb tank, replace it on my mark iv and get a great reverb like the fender blues jr.? I really don't like the reverb on the mark iv

You could change your reverb tank with another with equivalent features, like impedances, etc... by another brand

most likely it is a reverb tank from accutronics. As said before, it is better to replace a tank than to repair it. One of the hangings of one my springs broke so I had to replace one myself.

I contacted my local dealer, who contacted the international dealer of Mesa here in the Netherlands, Europe. Who contacted mesa.
Also I contacted Mesa myself. They told me to contact their international dealer, who was already contacted. After 9 months (!) being on hold with "well the shipment could come in now any moment" I did my own research and came to the conclusion:

Accutronics will send you tanks themselves.You can order them from their site (http://www.accutronicsreverb.com/). ON that site is everything explained how to order. On you reverb tank is a code stamped. This code contains parameter information like impedance, constructiion etc. If you want you can order the same thing. It seems to me that at least your impedance has to match if you decide to replace your tank with another model. But I'm not sure, because I 've never experimented with it. I was just glad enough I had a reverb again.
