How much are tubes in the US STR440 & 12AX7

As the title says, I wonder what these cost and the best place to buy preferably over the counter in LA, they seem pretty expensive in the UK.

Last time I checked it was slightly less in $ than what we pay in £ i.e £45 = $42. :shock:

I don't know where pro net are but mesa hollywood stock them though I'm not clear if its $42 per tube but you have to buy pairs or $42 for a box of 2 as in duet.

any ideas?
