...I know Mesa will sell you the presence control for ch. 3 of a 3ch Recto to replace the one in channel two if you'd like them to be identical. Since a lot of people seem to like using ch. 2 for their rhythm tone, and don't like 3 as much, has anyone ever gone the other way, and made 3 a clone of 2?

I spoke to Michael at Mesa about that...... He said it was a big mis-print in the manual..... He said that you couldn't swap out presence controls and make the amp have 2 channels the same. He said the way it's routed to the power amp is completely different and that there is more involved than just a tone pot.

So I was told it was impossible to get channel 3 to sound like channel 2 (or vice-versa).
