i dont know why it does this but its very annoying. it makes my amp useless.
it does this after its been warmed up pretty good. it cuts the sound as it flickers. it also does this in standby mode. i bought it over a year or so ago. should i try to send it to mesa so they can fix it? or can i fix this myself somehow?

It does that all on its own??? You're not changing any settings on the amp at all?

That's whats warranty is for. I would call them up and have them look at it. I would also suggest that you request to have the 10w mode Oscillation fix installed while they have it.

Yes all on its own. I put back the stock mesa preamp tube and it did flicker about 3 times yesterday, and not a single time today even after being used for 2 hours. Idk whats going on but ill see if it does it again, if it does im sending it in. Im thinking it was a bad preamp tube, the tungsol i had in v1 myst have been damaged or something, as i did have some buzz coming out the speakers that wasnt there when i first put it in, or even the stock tube had.

Im no amp tech but I cant really see a tube impacting the amp that way.

When you have the cover off do you see if one of the tubes is flickering and not the others.
