My Nomad 45 has developed an annoying (but not loud) mains hum on Channels 2 & 3.

Pre-amp valves have been checked/swapped - and it's still there.

Any help gratefully recieved.

I own a Nomad 100,had it from the start, great amp,I have had no problems with my gain channels,Are the tubes all new, perhaps some have gone microphonic,it could be anything....dust even,If it is really annoying and loud I would have a tech run over it.....not run over it in a car examine it I mean, lol

get back If you find out the problem

My Nomad 55 had a huge hum on channel 3 (set for hi gain) The service tech told me the transformer had come unmounted and some other more technical problems with power handling. We changed tubes and made a makeshift fastener for the transformer. Expensive, but it worked.

Amp tech has given it a complete going over - all is as it should be apparently.

Going to give it a new set of valves as it's 5 years old - then I'll have some spares at least.

Thanks for suggestions.
