ok so i was playing at practice...and suddenly all output is gone..i could hear a very very faint sound coming from the cab...i turned everything off and tried again..same thing...checked the cords, the guitar input....same thing..no sound..i could hear the transister make a wierd noise possibly a faint humming noise....all in all my first impression was its probably bad tubes, however, i can't remember hearing the tubes crackle or give any indication that they were in desperate need of a change (lower volume issues)...also i run my dual rec on diode mode...so can i rule out that the recitifer tubes are not the culprit? help?

... you meant transformer, right?
That might be your problem.
:!: I suggest you take it to be looked at by some one qualified.

I had this EXACT problem last night after changing pre-amp tubes. Likely one or more of your pre-amp tubes is defective. I put my old ones back in and it works fine now.
