Haven't seen many HB posts lately, so I figured I'd start one. Anyone out there really enjoying the tones they're getting out of their HB? How do you use yours? What tubes (pre and power) give you your best tones?

I've had mine a year now.The ultimate studio amp.Mine never leaves the studio.I bought all the available power tubes and rectifier tubes.
I use 6L6's For Clean and MK1 and tweed sounds, and they sounds great
for an old plexi sound too.The Lust channel sounds great with EL34's
for more of a british vibe.MK1 channel sounds like the Stiletto/Ace with 34's Lots of great Deluxe sounds w/6v6's.Bought a 5AR4 rec tube too.Seems to work great for tweed tones.GZ34 has a different sound as well.Almost any sound you need is at your fingertips if you know what
you are looking for. Also nice to have the 100/60 option ,this makes a big difference too.I have a variety of speakers for the different options,greenbacks,V30's and the Mesa Black Shadows that came with it.
Almost wish I had found a head but I really like the combo tone too.

Anyone know how many of these were made?

I love mine, but unfortunately not functioning quite up to standard. I love the tone inspires me to play.

Have you been Here?

i came close to buying one a while back but bought an express instead when they first came out

I have 2 (head & combo). Love them to death w/6V6's. I use a little white Vox Brian May (VBM1)amp's boost section in the front end and a Bad Cat 2Tone in the loop, at unity gain on both channels of the pedal and both channels of the amp. I like to use high gain on both amp channels, however on the Love channel I have the gain set much lower, and control everything with the volume pot on the guitar. This works quite well. Many people have commented "why would you use a SS amp in this equation", well the boost section of that amp is the same as using a pedal...just a lot more cost effective( gain boost + treble boost...when they came out they were $149 USD, GC blew them out for $99) .Try it if you're able. The Bad Cat was just so-so until I tried it in the loop of several amps and finally the Heartbreaker. This rig keeps me up at night and sounds great loud or bedroom quiet (with kids sleeping!) :D :D :D 8) 8) 8)

I love this amp.

:D Dammit Jason,

You are not helping me cope with the loss of mine.

I've been trying to raise enough money for Matt's, but other things keep coming up.

These are great amps. Very versatile and beautiful sounding.
