WOW! I'm hoping there's at least 10 lbs of packaging! :evil:

My head just came in, but haven't picked it up yet. Was hoping I'd be able to use it for open blues jams..but maybe i'll need to stick with the blues jr for those.

I'm guessing it is closer to around 50lbs without packaging, footswitch, etc, included in the box. Most couriers round up a little.

Fun fact: The average HUMAN head weighs 8 lbs.

The head is pretty heavy...one of the principal reasons why I didn't keep mine and opted for the combo. Its pretty darn heavy...add the weight of a cab...the combo was the better way for me.

It's 44 lbs and its small so it's very easy to carry around.

Well the combo is about 67 lbs.....

Head + cab = minimum of 109 lbs (assuming a 2x12)

My travel is usually pretty far from parking to gig.....I'd rather deal with one heavy item.
