Joey B...what does the "patch cord" in the loop do? I can run my F/X loop on (using it as a master volume) without the patching. Did I miss something? I heard the same thing from another guy who used the F/X with a patch between the send & return.

The patch cord may not be necessary, if your loop active master will control the overall volume and the other master volume controls are still active.

Yes it is active with the loops swtiched in both(or one) channels.
Yours needed the patch cord?

I never tried the loop "on" without any effects hooked up. I usually had a multi fx processor and a compressor/noise gate running through the loop. I was assuming that you needed someway to complete the circuit when the FX knob was switched to the "on" position. There's that word again (*** U ME).

hey all, after my original post way back when,i think i came pretty close, i dont have any clips but heres the settings.

*JJ EL34 and JJGZ34
*hotplate
*Tremoverb combo
*vacume tubes
*spongy
* clean mode pushed,i actually cloned red to orange so these settings are on the red channel controls,i ddnt try it yet in the orange channel clean mode,using that for something else.
*crank gain all the way up
*treble 2:00
* mids 11:00
*bass 11:00
*presence 3:00

* now turn that volume up

* PLEXI LAND!!!!!
