I played with a small group last night with my JP-2C again and wanted to share a few observations (different sort of venue, very different lineup - no drummer or bass player).
- speaker connected, CabClone going into the mixing board and PA
- I use the eq in a v for the clean channel. The neck pickup through the PA was way too boomy and I would have dialed back the bass if I'd had a chance. sounded great through the speaker, which was playing more quietly than the PA was.
- channel 2 sounded way better with the prescience pulled and by way better I mean it sounded EPIC. Searing, cutting gain. Sounded completely wicked sat in the mix and cut through it beautifully. Oh my god.
