G-major Freezing

I just got a G-major from a fellow board member and today I picked it up from the post office and plugged it in. Everything is going fine for about the first 30 minutes. Unfortunately it started freezing every time I changed presets. I would turn it off then back on and it would work for a little and then freeze when I changed presets. When it freezes none of the knobs work and the sound stops.

Has anyone experienced this problem?
