Hey Forum, I recently got a Rev C+ Dual Rec that had 2 pairs of power tubes. EL34's and 6l6's.
I didn't see that at first just turned on and it worked at lower volume.
When I got it home and started a general maintenance I found the tubes. Then when I was looking for Rev version I noticed the completely burnt screen grid resistor. The other SGR's dont seem to all be the same. Dont know whos been in here before me.
Anyone know what the proper values are for these resistors?
I believe I am looking for Vishay 1K 5W 5% wire wound resistors?
Are all the SGR's in this head supposed to be the same? Where would be the best place to get these also? Thanks

I reached out to Mesa directly and they are just great. This is quote from Mesa's reply,

"I was just waiting to hear from the tech. Here's the direct answer...Yes that’s a blown screen resistor. All the tubes have a 1K 3W wire wound resistor, this goes for both non multi watt and multi watt models.

I have read somewhere that people replace with 1k 5w but I'm just gonna do OEM. Also read Vishay Dale where the correct brand. I could be wrong. Anyway hope that helps someone.
