When did Boogie stop using the L.E.D. lights to show which channel is active?

Can't answer the question but I can tell you that I ordered mine new in May '97 and it is the new style with no L.E.D.s.

My DC-5 has the plastic switches and the indicator lights with serial number 17xx. The power supply caps date it to 1992.

Anyone with a low number amp and metal switches ever check the date on the power caps? That might narrow down the year of revision II.

I have DC-3 number 192 and it has 1993 printed on the main circuit board.
