I’m finally here… have owned Mesa products for a while but this one is worth showing and new to me. Playing with it over the past few days; man it really sits as a top tier amp in my collection. Mk3 no stripe.
Yessir. Mic mountWhat is the little metal nub on the left side of the grill. Some type of microphone mount?
Nice rig man!I’m finally here… have owned Mesa products for a while but this one is worth showing and new to me. Playing with it over the past few days; man it really sits as a top tier amp in my collection. Mk3 no stripe.
Yeah. I have found buying gear has the best deals on Craigslist if willing to wait and drive. Fortunately I have work outside of town, so this one was part of a multi-event driving extravaganza. Had it just been the head… ehhh I would have passed and bought one at some point a lot closer. Having said that the cabinet made the deal. When driving home I was regretting the extra trip BUT after playing this thing over the past few days; holy mackerel! It’s a beast. An absolute beast. I am an 80s nut job and still live in my 80s youth songs. This covers a lot of ground. This thing sits in the Larry and Wizard grouping of bad ass.Nice Rig. Bet it sounds great!
I have always wanted one of those cabs but could never find one in my area, I am lucky to see any Mesa products when I go shopping to see what I can find locally, that means driving a few hundred miles. Nothing in my immediate area that does not take a full day to get too has anything Mesa related stuff. Closest Guitar Center is 100 miles out. Same with the boutique music shops.
Sure, there is Reverb, but most cabs are for local pickup only which is a bummer since most of the new or used Mesa gear is in another state.
