Finally fixed up the DC-5!!

I finally found the time to build a footswitch for my DC-5.

While I was at it, I put in an adjustable Bias and some JJ's.

I also made it so that the EQ is footswitchable from the front, along with the Channel Select. I have an older version (DC-5 A) so this wasn't possible before. I can never get used to having too many cords on the floor.

Did you do any other mods, like changing the tone stack caps/resistors or anything like that?

I haven't actually closed it up yet.

I was thinking about changing the Tone Caps on the Clean channel to Mallory caps. I've done this on other DC's and it really adds some Vintage sparkle to the channel.


Now you've got me thinking.
