just bought a blues junior for the living room fun not to disturb my wifey from TV too much.
nice little amp, looks like he is cooking the power tubes, you can bbq with them.
anyway, after carefully checking the brand new amp all THREE preamp 12ax7 were already in heaven. replaced them with mesa ones and its running smooth now.
this happened to two of my ace's as well, preamp tube gone, amp brand new.
.... just to mention that ...
