My Nittany Lions aren't doing too well this year. We're okay so far, but we haven't gotten that "defining win" yet. Didn't get one last year. I wanted to either beat Michigan or Ohio State, but we didn't get either one.

I'm sick of Morelli turning the ball over all the time. He's pissing me off. I knew he was all hype from the beginning.

I think it's time for a new quarterback coach and new o-line coaches (jay paterno and kenney/anderson suck balls). when is the last time penn state had a great offensive line? hasn't been for a while. how bout a great quarterback? it's been a few years. michael robinson was okay because he could scramble and make plays.

Travelling to Amarillo TX today and not returning until Saturday. Couldn't watch my Buckeye's anyway because of the stupid Big Ten Network! Yes I have the one cable company that does not have the B10NW! Missed 4 games this year because of that.

I've been busy this week so what's the matchups after 3:30pm on Saturday worth watching?

clutch - i know the feeling! i hate the freaking BTN! my cable company (comcast) doesn't carry it either. it pisses me off to no end. i haven't heard much about what is happening this weekend. been too busy at work. i'm sure there will be some sort of upset though. i don't think there's been a weekend yet where there hasn't been one. it has been a really crazy season this year so far.

eventide- thanks for beating michigan for me. i know my team (PSU) ended up losing to michigan, but it is always nice to see the wolvies get beat. lol.

Haha, wish I could say that I had anything to do with the App/Mich. game, other than paying tuition and fees to help the athletics program.

I think that game helped wake up Michigan though. We all know Oregon is just great this year so I don't count that loss as horrible. App on the other hand has been battling injuries and a young defensive line. Not as great a year as we had hoped for.

Uh...Yeah. Oh well there's always Michigan and Pasedena.

You know if Kansas loses there will be no unbeaten teams. Hawaii doesn't count, no offense to those from the Aloha state. Going to be interesting.

tough loss last night!

i agree about hawaii not counting.

illinois seems to be the giant killer in the big 10 this year. they've played some pretty good football.

you excited for this weekend clutch? big game for ya.

As a Buckeye this is the Game. This is the greatest rivalry in sports history IMO. I wouldn't be any less excited if we had lost everygame this year. As long as we beat the team up North, the season is a succsess.

HBO ran a great documentary called the Rivalry this week. It covered the entire series from the first games to last years huge win. If your a college football fan I think you'll enjoy it regardless of who you route for.

Another #2 went down last night. Huge loss for Oregon. Couldn't believe it. Who knows how this season will turn out! This is why I love College football. Yeah the BCS sucks but it's all we got.

So Kansas could actually be in the MNC game if they win out. Would never have thought they would have a decent football team ever.

Good news is only 7-8 days until Dennis gets punted out of Aggieland forever.

Kansas has a long way to go IMO. Most likely through Missouri and Oklahoma or maybe Texas.

This is the season that championship games will help conferences that have them.

I completely agree with that. With all these one-loss teams, it helps to weed out who will be fighting for the national championship by having conference championships give another loss to some of those teams, and thus eliminating them from the championship bowl game bid.

hope that made since....

Big win today for the buckeyes against Michigan. Not exactly a pretty game, but Beanie had a great day!

The Mountaineers hung in there last night. They let Cincy get dangerously close.

Yes sir and I agree about not pretty. My Dad and I have a phrase we got from the 2002 season. A win is a win is a win. Chris Well's day was the best for any runningback in the history of Ohio State vs. the team up north. Holding Mike Hart to 42 yards really made just about everyone in Columbus happy especially since he had been running his mouth after last year, during the season, and before the game.

With OU losing I'm sure Buckeye fans are going to be chomping at the bit to get into the National Championship game. Me personally, I'm just happy to go to Pasedena and the tradition of the Rose bowl.

For OSU to get there IMO Missouri would have to beat Kansas and OU would have to beat Missouri. WV would have to fall to UCONN and LSU would have to fall to the east Champion who I think will be Georgia. Then the argument will be who does OSU play?

I agree completely, ugly or not a win is a win. I also agree with it being great to hold Hart down like that. I am also happy with OSU going to The Rose Bowl, it has been such a mixed up season, crazy.

Well it comes down to a final week of play.

BCS race is way up in the air.

West Virginia Vs Pitt - In a season where 12 top 5 teams have lost to unranked teams whose to say this game is in the bag?

Missouri Vs. Oklahoma - OU handed Mizz their only loss.

If either WVU or Mizz lose OSU is in it for sure. Not sure it's the right decision in a year where other schools have played better schedules and lost to better opponents. Personally I'd love to play USC in a classic Rose Bowl match up.

Boston College Vs. Virginia Tech will be a good game as well.

This bowl season is going to be awesome!

Big Time coaching changes this year Michigan, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Texas AM, Nebraska, and LSU maybe? Oh and if Mangino doesn't lay off the Canoles maybe Kansas. Man is he big!

I'm going to start stirring the $h*t bucket...

The BCS sucks and we need a playoff system. This year only further shows that. There's no clear cut #1 and #2 team IMHO. No matter who goes to the BCS title game, there are going to be a few teams who feel like they got screwed.

as much as I love the drama that comes with the BCS sometimes (i.e. watching #1 teams get upset), I would have to give a HUGE +1 to this statement.
