External switching on Mk IV, what midi gear does the job ?

Hi,

have a Rockman midi octopus but this gear doesn't do the job : I have linked 3 octopus output jacks to the MkIV R1,R2 and Lead switching jacks.

Can someone confirm this setup does not work, or tell me what I did wrong ...

What midi switchable stuff can do the job if the Rockman Octopus fails ?

The Octopus only has 1 jack that will switch channels on an amp.

I would check out the Axess Electronics CFX4 (www.axess-electronics.com)

The guy I bought my Mark IV from used one and it worked well as he didn't have the FU-3. I didn't buy the thing from him because I wanted the FU-3 so I just ordered one. Check out the manual or ask Rocktron/Mesa.

i have a Mark IV and an Axess CFX-4, it works perfectly for MIDI switching
