Express 5:25 Bass channel two

Hi,

I find that in Channel two the bass setting doesn't add all that much bottom end even when turned up full. There is a noticeable change but nothing dramatic like on Channel 1. Is this typical to this amp or do I need to get it checked?

Your treble & mids settings will have a huge impact on the bass setting -- the eqs are interactive, and the treble & mids come earlier in the chain.

Maybe by adjusting the treble or mids downward you will have more response in the bass eq?

Thanks for replying. I've played with the treble and mids but I get the same results.

I'm not sure what to suggest then.

I have the same amp though -- I'll twiddle some knobs tonight and see if my bass response is weaker on Ch2, too.

Try an EQ pedal either before your amp or in the effects loop. Don't over-do it.
