What about Kirk Hammett? He has now switched to Randall??!?!?!? Was he not happy with the Mesa stuff he used for all these years? WTF?

Switching amps after 20+ years with the same endorsement isnt whoring I'm no Metallica fan but Kirk is pretty stable....endorses ESP loyally and has only switched amp endorsements once.

Didn't he endorse the ADA MP-1 preamps there for a while in the late 80's?

Everybody used those in the 80's.

He used Mesa power amps to run them though.

Kirk isnt an endorsement *****...he is pretty loyal.

He is still using Mesa amps live too, the new rig is comprised of a preamp rack built around the Randall and a second power section rack build around a Rectifier.
