Hi guys, I want to build a new head enclosure for my Mark V head and cover it with leather I have coming in (I think).

1. Can you guys link me to pics of empty head cabs? I don't know why but my Google Image searches come up short. I assume that other Mark Series would be close. I just want to see what's involved.

2. Is it easy to swap out the guts? Just askin'

Thanks!

It is easy to swap out the guts. I don't think the MV headshell is the same as any other, I could be wrong. The head and combo are the same size. If you need any specific measurements pm me. I am thinking about building a hardwood shell for mine.

Thanks Halfnote. I would expect the Mark V to be different but I'm just wondering if there are weird brackets or things that are part of the cabinet. I'll take a close look at mine to see. It should be straight forward to build with my skills (supplemented by my dad's super duper skills as a back up).

I'll go at it after I'm sure there are no issues with my head.
