i am running a tc electronics g major with my dual rectofier, well the effects processors works and the turner works but no effects are coming out through the amp i've tried everything to get it to work, i know it is not the processor because it works just fine with my soldano, but as soon as it goes into my dual rect nothing, any body had this problem or does anybody know what might be the problem doen't make since it works with fine with the soldano but not with the dual rect

all i can say is to make sure the mix knob is turned up, the proper channel is selected and that the fx loop is activated. does the gmajor show signal going in on the display? this should help you narrow down if the DR is sending signal out to the gmajor, if it isnt then messing with any of the mix or anything like that would be pointless.

i have turned the effects knobs on the back up the only knob i haven't turned up is the one on the front and i have turned it but not maxed, but to me it seems like a volume control but i could be wrong, i should be able to control the volume on the processor but i can't it doesn't work along with everything else the processor is showing signal and the turner is working there are db coming through but only 24 it should be coming in maxed maybe this little information can help you guys thanks

Your channel masters are the effects send control per channel. If you have them set low it may not be enough signal to feed the FX unit.

Have you tried a different tube in V4 (FX loop buffer)?

i shouldn't have to change tubes the amp is brand new, it is a week old and a week is how long i have been dealing with this, it hasn't worked since i got the amp

its not a matter of what you should have to do, these are troubleshooting steps. if you want to find the answer to your question then youll need to get more info about your situation by doing things such as swapping tubes from one position to another.

either help us help you or just go return the amp if youre convinced it is a defective unit(which i'm guessing it is, but with limited info about the situation i cant say for sure)
