E34L in a mark 4

Just would like two know, can you use the jj e34l tubes in a mark 4,
and if they any good.

yes you can, and they're great tubes, and cheap. Call bob at eurotubes.com and he'll pick out a pair that will bias right in your amp.

I av got a pair from when i had a recto, would they be ok or not.

They'll be fine, just keep an eye on them for the first couple of hours to make sure they don't red plate. I think the bias should be fine but without taking a reading you have to be careful. If you want in the future you can buy a bias rite which will tell you what your tubes are running at. Again I think you'll be fine, but keep an eye on the tubes for the first couple of hours. Thanks jamme, tryed tubes now and sounds amazing, but you cant go full power, just tweed with these tubes can you.

The only tubes you can't go full power, is 6V6's. EL34's are fine with full power.
