Go to your local music store (not GC or Sam ash) and ask them to get you an ESP eclipse with a SD sh-5 in the bridge, and a phat cat in the neck(none of that EMG stuff). Run that into a Mk-iv w/ EVM, and once you tweek for a couple minutes you will be in a state of tonal nirvana...
 
I guess I'll have to go with what I have now which is also what I use as a go-to for jamming: RKII 2x12" combo and a Gibson Les Paul Standard Faded. If it were my dream set-up of the day and what I think may sound good without any research: Soldano SLO100 and a Hamer Monaco Supepro.
