Why is tone less aggressive when I plug OCD between guitar and Dual Rectifier when is OCD turn off? I feel stronger and tighter tone when I plug a guitar direct to amp.I was read that should be OCD true bypass. When I use DS-1 in the same setup I don`t feel a such difference.

Any suggestion

Get the last issue of guitar player and read up about true bypass. It is NOT all it is cracked up to be and has some pretty huge drawbacks.

Your boss pedal has a buffer that raises the line signal out the back end of the pedal when the effect is on or off. True bypass pedals do not. I have always had better results with true bypass pedals being bookended with buffered effects. Turns out I was doing it right all along....

Long cords, defective cords and really poor quality chords will cause that.

True bypass isn't always that good of a thing...a buffer is sometimes a great thing to have in line.

Good cables can help you out a bit in this case aswell.
