dual rec quesiton

so i just noticed on my dual rec that some of my pots are wobbly, when i turn them they dont crackle, but it just irritates me.

what can solve this? the seller of whom i go tit from offered to pay to be fixed, or give me my money back.

best route?

What do you mean wobbly? Like you can move it up and down?

try taking the knob off and see if the set nut is loose on the post holding it firm to the chassis.

I noticed that too - however on my used Dual Recto.

Not that the pots are scratchy, or they are insecure when they turn, but its like the pot is screwed in 'shifted', and instead of turning straight left and right, the knobs kind of travel 'up' when they are turned.

Every pot on the amp does it, I thought it was just part of the amp. I haven't noticed any adverse affect on the tone or performance so I just ignored it.

Is that what you're describing?
