Does anyone use Extreme?

extreme is my heavy channel 3 ...... love mark 1 for my mild crunch channel 2 and Fat on channel 1

When I was looking at the Mark V, I was also considering buying another Mark IV instead as I stupidly sold my MIV Widebody combo 6 years ago and regretted it ever since. What swayed me to the Mark V was the much improved second channel and second master volume/Solo boost feature and the additional channel voicings on the V. Not to mention the 5 year warranty.

All that being said, I play in Mark IV mode most of the time on this amp.

Extreme is was my instant favourite mode when I got my Mark V not long ago. Really like the immediate and tight response that stays aggressive even with the gain set lower (just passed noon). We had a gig on Friday and it sounded awesome. Here's a shitty iPhone clip ... I'm on the left and pretty much all you hear is my guitar (the other guys' cab was facing sideways). Channel 3 Extreme.
