Hey Guys,
I am in the mood to have a change - I am still struggling with the III as far as versatility goes - my band do a huge range of stuff - Police, Sheryl Crow, Queen, Skunk Anansie, Christina Aguliera, No Doubt/Stefani Etc Etc and I find the III a bit limited because of the shared EQ and I sometimes don't feel I have enough "liquid" in the Gain Channel for that Creamy Boogie Sound - I've had the amp for 8 years so I know how to dial in etc.
Would I benefit from upgrading to a IV - would I get more Gain, is R2 more usable as a Crunch/Rhythm Channel etc etc.
For Reference, I am using a Jeff Beck Strat, Gretsch Tennessean, USA Tele and a backup Jap Strat, Seymour Duncan Pickup Booster and an Effects Unit for Delays etc.
All your thoughts Please.
