Nova Delay all the way. Far superior to anything Boss make.
The Eventide is great too but not as good value for $$ as the Nova Delay.
Plus the ND is half the size.
Your Mark V deserves high quality effects IMO

I picked up the Nova a few weeks back when I bought my Mark V. Love it. I bought it new on eBay for less than 200.00 shipped.

Looking for a new delay myself. Coming down to the T Rex Replica, Eventide, and Tech 21 Boost DLA.

Picked up a delay pedal a couple months ago and basically had the choice of any on the market.

Ended up settling with the T-Rex Replica -- if you want something simple, straightforward with the ability to sound amazingly "warm" go for it.

Well I am stuck with the DD-3 for a little longer now, I had to get some maintenance done to our vehicles.
So anyways, I decided to fiddle with the DD-3 some more and i turned down the effects level knob on the back of the amp below half way. And that 98% of the clipped delays. I used it in church last Sunday during worship in 10 watt mode on Channel 1 and 2 and it sounded great.
I am however having to crank my output knob at about noon, am I killing my tone at all by turning the effects level knob down so low? I know once I go back to band practice and crank all channels back up to 90 watt then the out put knob will come down some

I don't think you are killing your tone by running the FX loop volume low. I have mine at 9:00 currently and it sounds fine (IMO!). If it sounds good to you then go with it!!
