DC-3 blanket mod help needed

I'm decent with a soldering iron, but I am TERRIBLE at looking at a schematic and locating components on the actual board in the amp. I've purchased the needed 47pf cap to replace the 75pf cap with (per Monsta-Tone's mod instructions in another thread), but I can't seem to locate the component(s) on the board.

Here's Monsta-Tone's blanket removal mod instructions for reference:

Blanket Removal Mod: I always seem to forget to tell people about this one, but it makes a huge difference. It gets rid of a lot of the muddy tone and over all lack of dynamics compared to some of the Holy Grail amps.
1. Right after V6 (page 7 of drawing), there is a 75pf cap that ties pins 1 & 6 of V6 together.
Replace this cap with a 47pf Silver Mica cap.

2. Then, remove the 2 120pf caps across the 82K & 100K resistors that are located just to the Right of the 75pf cap.
These caps are placed here to eliminate oscillation and feedback.

If anyone can circle these 3 caps in a pic of the DC-3b's board, or at least describe their location in detail that would be awesome!

Looking forward to lifting the blanket off the amp. It is sounding great otherwise.

Well, no wonder I couldn't find it, haha. Any other similar mods for the DC? It has a lifeless tone on the lead channel that I have been fighting that makes it sound muffled.

What about the mud mod that worked for the Nomads?

Honestly, I am not really sure about that. But, I will agree with you the DC-3 is an unforgiving amp. VERY LITTLE if ANY touch sensitivity.

I have just gotten used to hammering the **** out of my guitars to make up for it. The DC-3 loves a chainsaw player.

Also, I crank my EP booster for single note solos and stuff of that nature to make up for it. The EP booster doesn't color the tone much, and it does provide the sensitivity the amp is missing.

Maybe Monsta can share some secrets with the DC-3?

Well, I finally bit the bullet and snipped a resistor that I had read about people messing with on the gear page forums that they said 'removed a blanket from the front of the speaker'. Boy, did it! Just what I was wanting. It's a 22k resistor right behind the reverb knob. It's red-red-brown-red. I can finally bring my treble, presence, and right two GEQ settings down to where they should be (for the Mark series type amps at least).

haha, blamo is right! I had a jam session with some friends tonight and it rips! I don't know why they put that resistor there in the first place. I'm finally happy with my amp. I was on the verge of selling it until now...

Likely to prevent feedback. I do have to use my NoiseGate when the amp is over 6 on the master.

Just got done jamming with a buddy, he couldn't believe how much better it sounded.

Maybe so, but they castrated the amp in the process! I had it pretty damn loud last night and didn't have any issue with feedback. It sounds like you pretty much had yours wide open!

It was. I was having so much fun I had the gain at 9 on the Lead channel. When I backed down to 7 it was solid.

Haha, yea, 7.5 is about as high as I run the gain on that channel.

Hi guys,

I have done the volume mod but I'm struggling with 2 mods which are supposed to make the amp sound more "open".

I've read that one 22k resistor is somewhere behind the treble knob and another one behind the reverb knob but I cannot locate any of the 2...

I've enclosed a picture with the volume mod highlighted but could someone point me towards these other 2 resistors that need to get unclipped please?
