Stupid me, put in EL34s and forgot to flip the switch. Seriously, how much damage could I have caused my amp? I didn't even play it at bedroom levels -- just more of an audible whisper. It sounds fine, but man am I scared! What do you all think? I am sure I am not the only forgetful ******* who's done this!

I played like this for about 20 minutes. I'm screwed, no?

mine somehow got set to el34 one of the first times i used it.. i dunno how.. but anyways, i was wondering why my tone was so wierd-- i played an entire show (at low volume), popped a preamp tube when i used it the next day.. is this lulz?

No worries whatsoever. Even if you played it wide open for 5 hours straight, there would be no damage. The 6L6 tube on EL-34 setting would be much more dangerous for the power tubes and amp in general. You can release yourself from the "pucker up" zone.
