Crackle and Hiss from new tubes

I got in a new set up tubes today and I put them in and there is a cracke and hiss. My mesa's were really quiet, but these are loud and it concerns me. It's a 6V6/KT77 quad and I am wondering if it is messing my amp up.

Tap the tubes gently with the eraser end of a pencil and note which ones make noises. Tap the preamp tubes too. Replace the noisy ones. If the noisy tubes are not microphonic, this will not work, but give it a try.

6V6/KT77 quad? Strange combination! I hope they fall within specs for your amp!

Bob said the combo was good to go. I just changed out the preamp tubes and everything is fine now.
