I was wondering if there was any way to get a good country tone out of the TOV. Having reverb, tremolo, and plenty of gain options, is there any way to attain it? if so where are some good places to start as far as settings go? thanks guys (im looking for "throttleneck"- brad paisley tone to just a good rocking tone like kenny chesney/gretchen wilson)

Howdy, although I'm not a country player I do enjoy occassionally gettin' my twang on. I run my clean channel in tube/spongey, the reverb about 75%, the trem at full depth with a moderately fast rate, depending on song tempo of course. I go 50-60% bass, low mids, 60-80% treble, about 30% channel gain for a little dirt when digging in, almost no presence, and add a compressor. I use a stock American Standard Strat that has a wonderfully elusive mojo. This works for me for just messing around. However, I only have 4x12 closed back cabs and I'd think your open combo would do a better country tone. a8)
