JUst a few years ago I hated EL-84 amps. They sounded fizzy and "thin" to me. Lately, I love EL-84 amps and prefer them to their 6L6 brethren.

I guess it depends on what you have in mind. I don't want an apples to apples comparison. I want to hear apples versus oranges.
I know what both sound like. I've played both numerous times, but my curious nature really wants to hear a side-by-side. Haggerty's, where are you?
