I have never had a Mesa before, but had been a fan of that Andy Timmons tone for a long time. Finally got round to finding one locally and did the deal.

I'm only a home player so a 100watt 2 x 12 might look like too much, but actually it is not too loud for home playing.

Here's a video of me playing some SRV style stuff (cliche alert!) with a few different boost pedals in front of it.
