I saw this on one of the links posted:

Serial Number

To further validate the IIC+ claim, look for the serial number. It should be between 125XX and 14XXX, but there is variability with the low end of this range as the exact start of the IIC+ and end of the IIC was in the 12,3XX range.

I am the original owner (purchased in 1986) of SN# K513 and it's a MKIII Coliseum (No Stripe), Simul-Class with EQ, and Reverb. I was told by the factory that it's the 13th MKIII Coliseum made, out of approximately 200... They don't know how many were produced to a certainty. Hopefully this will help narrow down your investigation.

Hi Scott,

Awesome information on this! Now we have another important information on the IIC+ Coliseum.
Hope you enjoy the Coli!

Regards!

Hey
Learned something new from Mike B.

He said that the simul coliseum has about 120 watts full power and about 80 watts on half power. In either configuration all 6 output tubes are used. To drop the power, another screen resistor kicks in to drop the plate voltage by about 50 volts thus reducing the output power. I could never imagine they would only use the class A tubes in half power, it just seemed like too big a drop in power. That also means it always running simul and never in class A.
Interesting

KRG IIC+, K354, cream tolex

Howdy, I'm a newbie to the board by the way. I had no idea what I had was so special until I found this board. Thanks all for the great info.

sweetness !!! congrats !!! so you're participating in this years C+ KRG owners meeting ? paris, france ?

No idea what you're talking about. But I'd have to sell the amp to afford to go, so I'm not going ;)

I may be setting myself up here, but is there really a "C+ KRG owner's meeting"?

No he's yanking your chain ;-)
But having one might be fun, though possibly a bit deafening :D
